DECEMBER
Firefighter I and II Academy
Class orientation: December 9, 2025, at 1800 at York County EMA, 149 Jordan Springs Road, Alfred, ME.
Classes will be on Saturdays beginning on January 3, 2026, at 0800.
Location: York County Regional Training Center, 79 First County Way, Alfred, ME
Fee: $1250 York County, $1400 outside York County, $1650 outside Maine.
Classes will run on Saturdays and some Sundays, starting on January 3 through June 6.

This course is approved for 50% reimbursement from the Harold Alfond Workforce Development Compact.
It is also an approved Maine Department of Labor Apprenticeship.

Firefighter I & II January through June
Saturdays: 0800 - 1700
York County Regional Training Center, 79 First County Way, Alfred, ME 04002
First Responder Resilience and Wellness Program.
This program will kick off in January. Providing monthly training on various topics regarding first responder readiness. Training provided is for all types of first responders (Corrections, Fire, EMS, Dispatch, Police, etc.). More to come on this initiative.

Tuition Reimbursement via Harold Alfond Foundation
Maine agencies can apply for 50% reimbursement for these programs through the Harold Alfond Foundation - Work Force Development Compact.
