Celebrating 20 Years of Service to York County - Richard R. Dutremble, Chair of the York County Commissioners, Recognized by MCCA
After two decades of dedicated service, York County Commissioner Richard Dutremble is retiring from the York County Commission at the end of this year. This week, Commissioner Dutremble was recognized by the Maine County Commissioners Association (MCCA) for his 20 years of commitment to York County and to county government across Maine.
For 20 years, Commissioner Dutremble has brought his experience, perspective, and deep commitment to public service to the York County Commissioners. He has served as Chair of the York County Commissioners for several years and as President of the Maine County Commissioners Association in 2023–2024.
As Richard prepares to retire from the Commission, all of us at York County government want to take a moment to recognize not only the years of service represented by this plaque from MCCA, but also the countless meetings, conversations, decisions, challenges, and accomplishments behind it.
Twenty years is an extraordinary commitment to a community. Commissioner Dutremble’s leadership has helped shape York County, and his steady presence, thoughtful approach, and dedication to public service will be greatly missed.
