If you are a veteran – or not – and looking for new employment opportunities, the Maine Hire-A-Vet job and resource event, sporting 60 or more employers, takes place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 at York County Regional Training Center, 79 First County Way in Alfred. While the event has a veteran focus, Maine Department of Labor officials say all job seekers are welcome.

Today, Kelsie Fitch is healthy, committed to her own long term recovery, helping others along that path, and living a happy life.
