Clinic Hours, vaccines offered, and general information

The YCEMA Vaccine Clinic is open. The schedule changes frequently. Please click on the buttons above for the latest information, including operating days/times.

Moderna, Pfizer, Novavax, all Pediatric Moderna, all Pediatric Pfizer, and bivalent boosters will be available.

We are now vaccinating children aged 6 months and older.

Our Clinic is located at 1364 Main Street in Sanford, ME 04073, near the Dollar Tree. 

The clinic is walk-in only.

Where can appointments be made?

  • Our clinic is drop-in only. 

What if I need transport?

  • Our clinic is conveniently located on the local bus route and information on bus fares/ schedules can be found by selecting the Sanford Transit or WAVE link here: https://yccac.org/transportation/

      • The current guidelines for boosters require that an individual receiving Pfizer or Moderna must have had their 2nd dose at least 6 months before their booster and be 18 years of age or older. 

      • The current guideline for J & J boosters requires that an individual be age 18 or older and have received their primary vaccine two or more months ago.

Can I bring my 5- 11-year-old during the adult clinics?

  • Yes, have opened our clinic hours up for all vaccines and boosters. 

Can I have my child vaccinated with Moderna?

  • No, the only vaccination approved for use on 5- 17-year-olds is currently Pfizer. 5–11-year-olds must be vaccinated with the pediatric dose of Pfizer. Moderna pediatric is approved for children ages 6 months to 5 years only.  

I had the Flu shot within the last 14 days; can I still get vaccinated? 

  • Yes, the current CDC guidance is that patients who have received a flu shot can get their COVID- 19 Vaccine the same day. 

Do I need to make an appointment? 

  • No, we accept drop-ins only.

Are boosters available?

  • Yes, we offer all boosters that have been approved by the CDC for Covid- 19. Please use the CDC booster check up tool in the links above to verify eligibility. 

Do you have J & J?

  • Yes, we have been keeping J & J vaccine in stock. 

Are you offering vaccines for children aged 6 months and older?

  • Yes, we are offering all approved pediatric vaccines for Covid-19.

Can I have a new card written at your clinic? 

  • New cards can be written at our clinic if the patient received all their doses in Maine, if their Primary Care Provider updated their Maine record with out of state doses, or if they provide proof of vaccination from out of state. 

  • If a patient’s vaccination information is not available by the ways mentioned, we cannot write a new card and we cannot issue any blank ones. They will be advised to call their Primary doctor or the original vaccinating site.
